Flipscreen is the original programme of integrated computer workstation furniture . Originally conceived in 1999 in order to provide a flexible solution for computer-based or traditional learning within the same room at Oxford University , and shortlisted for the 2000 FX Design Award, Flipscreen has been developed to accommodate standard off-the-shelf computer workstations ,
in furniture rather than on it. Based on the principal of folding a TFT screen (most 15" and 17" screens with a VESA mount fit) the remaining IT equipment is accommodated within, or suspended from, the desk.

Flipscreen has been tested to BS4875 (Strength & Stability), BS 6396 (Electric systems within furniture) and BS9241 (Ergonomics) and is warranted against faults in design, manufacture or installation for a period of 3 years.
